Unrequited Love.

You and I, are inseparable. Atleast in my mind.

Because you, more than anybody else in this world, put me to peace, help me unwind,

You’re the reason that small secluded corner will always be my favourite place in my study,
Because there, I’d have just you and my exfoliating melancholy for company,

I come back home for you.
You’re who I look up to, to replenish my dwindling solitude,
And come to think of it, in a world where you ain’t there, I would cease to breathe too,
I wouldn’t care to imagine an existence without you,
Without the divine intoxication I find, in breathing in your scent, in delving into your story,
In ruffling through your rustic pages, in reassuring the restless soul that everything’s hunky-dory –

In earnestly comforting my beating heart,

That you might not have the faintest clue that I exist, yet, no one can, for long, keep us apart.

I hoard books for a living. And read them too, when I am not sleeping. I express what I think, so my unheard feelings don't sink. I like to sing when I walk, to keep shades grey, at bay. I speak like a dork, but I don't want to drive anyone away. I write what's real, and nothing fake, so visit my blog whenever you need a break ;)
