The Mirror of Erised.

If I stood in front of the Mirror of Erised, I wonder what it would show me –

I’d look good in it, for starters, I’d be someone pretty,
Also someone, who keeps her head in adversity,
And my abode, I’m sure I’ll find it in a library,

I’d spot myself having dinner with Mr. Bindra, Ms. Rowling, and the phenomenal Mr. Federer,
In the Great Hall of Hogwarts, sitting beside Ms. Granger, Mr. Weasley, and the elusive Mr. Potter,

I’d be someone famous. I’d be the author of a bestseller or two,
I’d be smart, I’d find people easier to construe,

And oh, I’d be someone who never flies off the handle, someone, with oodles of patience,
Someone who brings about change, I’d be someone, who makes a difference.

P.S. The Mirror of Erised is a mirror from Harry Potter that shows the deepest desires of your heart.

I hoard books for a living. And read them too, when I am not sleeping. I express what I think, so my unheard feelings don't sink. I like to sing when I walk, to keep shades grey, at bay. I speak like a dork, but I don't want to drive anyone away. I write what's real, and nothing fake, so visit my blog whenever you need a break ;)
