Keep Going…✨

With the crests and troughs in the curve called life,

There’s nothing uniform, not even the strife,

Keep going, give whatever it takes to reach where you want,

There’s nothing in the world that achieve, you can’t,

Look beyond your flaws, look beyond your scars,

For you are meant to reach the stars!

I hoard books for a living. And read them too, when I am not sleeping. I express what I think, so my unheard feelings don't sink. I like to sing when I walk, to keep shades grey, at bay. I speak like a dork, but I don't want to drive anyone away. I write what's real, and nothing fake, so visit my blog whenever you need a break ;)

  1. Hmm…….Holding emotions in, are we? It’s not good at all. How do I know? I sometimes do it, thinking that if I hold my emotions in and not share it with anybody that I’ll be fine. Well,……I will say this; there are times when you should let your emotions and there are times where you should keep it to yourself. Only you can find the balance in between the two. Now yes, I know that it may be tricky at first to let all your emotions out. Shoot, it took me some time before I even felt comfortable talking to someone (mind you, my mom had to push me to talk to someone that I know and trust before I started doing it). I was one of those people who would just hold things in and not tell a SOUL, but now I’ve talked to people that I know and trust. Now listen here, I also keep things inside of me. Anything that I’m feeling, I don’t tell a lot of people. Do you want to know why? My mom taught me that, “People don’t need to be in your business all the time.” She’s absolutely right on that; you don’t have to tell EVERYBODY about your problems and situations. Find 2 or 3 people that you know and trust and talk to them. That’s all you need. Once you do, I want you to watch and see how better you feel once you go to them and you talk on a regular basis about how you’re feeling. I got to two people that I know and my parents know and I trust them. I talk to my cousin and my auntie; like I said before you don’t need everybody up in your business.
