Day 2 – 30 Day Writing Challenge πŸ’ƒ

Something that someone told me about me, that I’d never forget.

So that evening I had had a terrible day at work, I was gutted, agitated and in the verge of tears. Something had made me want to quit, something had made me think I was useless, a complete failure. Fortunately for me, a senior who had known me right since school got into the same compartment as mine in the train on our way back from work and we got chatting. Suddenly, out of nowhere, he told me this.

“You know, You are such a passionate little thing. Perseverant. Never let that fire in you, die.”

The impact of his words was big. Because, sometimes, all it takes is a little bit of encouragement and faith to keep you going.

So every time I break down, or lose heart, I remember his words. They help me move on, remain sincere to where I want to reach.

I hoard books for a living. And read them too, when I am not sleeping. I express what I think, so my unheard feelings don't sink. I like to sing when I walk, to keep shades grey, at bay. I speak like a dork, but I don't want to drive anyone away. I write what's real, and nothing fake, so visit my blog whenever you need a break ;)
