To continue to live even after you let go,

To be able to say ‘No’,

To oppose who and what you think is wrong,

To pursue your dreams, like a beautiful song,

To smile away your fears,

To blink back your tears,

To shed that protective nest,

To face the world and prove you’re the best,

To fight your battles strong, no matter how big they are,

If, in you, you have the grit and the gut to face ’em all, 

If you would dare to step ahead every time you fall,

Then, my friend, YOU, are the true star!
