My Bucket List.

I have been adding stuff to this list right since my childhood, and the list is way too big, I say.

1. BUY an iPhone someday. (I have always been fascinated by Apple products. Already have two with me, but they are gifts :P. I have to buy one.)

2. Write a book of poems and publish them. And show them to Ms. J.K. Rowling to get her opinion on my thought-flow and language.*** (I have been writing poems since my high school days, but have never been serious about them. My poetry isn’t all that good too. So, I have to work harder on my skills before I get to the book)

3. Become an RJ and voice-over artist (Actually the RJ stint is my school math teacher Mrs. Vijaya Ma’am’s idea who believes I can make it big there, and a few of my friends’ idea too, who apparently think my voice is good and presume I have a way with words. So, do I have?)

4. Write for ‘The Gaurdian’. (This is a big U.K. daily, I know :P. And I am sitting in a corner in Chennai, with sub-standard language skills, and  an ‘oh-not-so-good’ profile. But, please, can I still get a chance? )

5. Meet Suchitra Karthik Kumar. (I have tweeted to her, exchanged mails, listened to her sing, seen her perform. But, have never met her in person. And I so love her for what she is. 🙂 )

6. Buy a villa. In a green, peace-loving area. With a landscape panorama view from the terrace.(I know this is next to impossible in today’s world, but what’s the harm in trying? ( 🙂 ))

7. Learn at least 12 Indian languages, and 3 foreign languages. (I have this deep, deep love for speaking and writing in different languages)

8. Become a top Indian journalist. (Mr. Rajdeep Sardesai, Ms. Barkha Dutt…they are my role models. Journalism is my passion. Have always wanted to be a journo, right since childhood)

9. Visit Switzerland and meet Tennis God Roger Federer. (I am so deeply in love with him. 😉 )

10. Meet the personalities who have made a difference to my thoughts; through their work, their way of life, or by their mere existence. And they are:

Mr. Abhinav Bindra

Ms. Malvika Iyer

Mr. Stephen Hawking

Mr. Obama

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam

Mr. Amitabh Bachchan

Mr. Vishwanathan Anand

Mr. Shah Rukh Khan

Mr. Aamir Khan

Ms. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Mr. Barun Sobti (I am a die-hard Sobtiholic ;))

11. Have Facebook and Twitter fan-pages created for me, when I become popular as a journo (Yeah, I know it’s a bit too much 😛 😉 )

12. Put on some flesh. (I am tired of people asking me to put on weight, become fat, and am totally exasperated of the “Arrey! do you even eat ?” questions.)

So far, just this. Will keep updating the list as it grows.

P.S. The list was really long. But I got around to fulfilling some of them when I got the opportunity. Will work on the list above and try to get them done! 🙂

*** J.K. Rowling – She has swept me off my feet with her creativity, her books, her imagination, and her Harry Potter series. I completely idolize her. It will be a dream come true for me, to even get the chance to meet her just once, forget getting the poems reviewed. 🙂

I hoard books for a living. And read them too, when I am not sleeping. I express what I think, so my unheard feelings don't sink. I like to sing when I walk, to keep shades grey, at bay. I speak like a dork, but I don't want to drive anyone away. I write what's real, and nothing fake, so visit my blog whenever you need a break ;)
